SYCAMORE MOOSE LODGE #1506 BRINGS HOME THE TROPHY FOR THE 2ND MONTH IN A ROW!
April 20th, 2013, Sycamore Moose Lodge members attended the District Meeting in St Charles. Twelve members from the lodge were present. Al Mannis, Governor, presented Mooseheart with a check for $5,500.00 In addition Sycamore Lodge was reconized for their endowment contributions and new membership acheivements. The Lodge ranked first in the District for both. Having 12 members at the meeting gave us the First Place Trophy for having the most representation at the meeting, which was proudly displayed on the bar.
But it didn't stop there, May 18th, 2013, the District Meeting was held in Lockport Moose Lodge and again the Sycamore Lodge was represented by having nine members present. Again brought home the trophy! You can see it placed proudly at the bar. The lodge was reconized for their new membership acheivements and took the first place ranking.
The next District Meeting will be in July at the Joilet Moose Lodge. All members are encouraged to come, this is a great way to see other lodges. Meetings start at 5pm, break for dinner (costs vary), then a second meeting at 7pm.
Congrats to the Lodge and a BIG THANK YOU to those members who attended the meetings.

Hi everyone, we finished another Moose year. The first thing I would like to say is "Thank you to all the officers, both men and women, and the bartender staff for a job well done". It was a tough year with the fire and all. We made it and are looking real good going into our next fiscal year.
It gives me a great honor that the house committee has chosen me to serve our lodge as your Administrator. The job is difficult but I'm willing to give it my all. The first six months will be the hardest, so like the fire, with the membership help we will succeed. I have the best instructor in the Mooseworld teaching me, which I will be forever greatful to, for without her help I do not know how it would get done. Cheryl, I thank you, the boards thanks you and the membership thanks you. So let's get started and have a good year and always remember, my door is open to each and everyone of you.
